Voodoo Wedding Launch Day

Friday 1st March is Launch Day for the second book in Janice Horton’s Voodoo Romance Trilogy for Amazon Kindle

‘Voodoo Wedding’

The Voodoo Romance stories are a series of humorous chick-lit style romance novellas. At 20,000 words or around 70 pages, they are a perfect length for that train journey, a short flight, or the daily commute.

Janice says: These stories were inspired by a journey. I was on a flight from the Caribbean that had originated in Port au Prince, Haiti, when I witnessed a lively spat between two female passengers. At the same time as one of the women put a ‘curse’ on the other, my imagination went into overdrive, and the storyline for ‘How Do You Voodoo?’ was born!

‘How Do You Voodoo?’ was published towards the end of 2012 and was chosen by Love Reading Love Books as one of their Top Reads for 2102. It was also an Amazon Bestseller.

As a writer, it seemed a good idea to write a single novella between full length novels, but my readers told me they wanted to know more about what happened between the main character Nola and her gorgeous voodoo ‘witch doctor’ Louis, and so ‘Voodoo Wedding’ came along. The third part in the story ‘Voodoo Child’ will be available later in the year.

Both novellas are now available from Amazon for Kindle at just £1 or $1.50 each.

Two Voodoo Covers Together

I do enjoy a launch party celebration and today (Friday 1st March) over on Facebook and on Twitter, I’m hosting the Voodoo Wedding Launch Party. I’m asking party peeps to post a photo of their wedding dress, wedding shoes, handbags, wedding cakes, venues, in fact anything wedding related – and if you are unwed then why not have some fun and post a picture of your idea of a perfect wedding dress? Feel free to go as quirky or as bridal couture as you wish on the Facebook Event Page or on Twitter using the Hashtag #voodoowedding.

There will be prize draws and wedding ‘favours’ for those participating and retweeting today.

So do pop over and join in the fun – it’s an open invitation!
